Too much to remember or list, the above items are the major projects. I have well over $45,000 invested since 2008, please read the more detailed description below. According the body tag this car was built in Southgate California and was originally Yuma Beige with Saddle interior. I don’t know when it was originally painted black (I re-painted in 2008) but the gentleman I got it from said it was black when he got it in the early 2000’s. He said it had been owned by an IRS agent in the Midwest. I don’t have any original paperwork or build sheet. I have a NH antique title in hand. The car didn’t have a title when I bought it and NH doesn’t require one but I applied for a new title in 2015 and was granted an antique title by New Hampshire. Exterior, Body, Trunk & Undercarriage: This car was restored & painted between 2008-2010. We stopped short of taking it off the frame but did extensive professional metal work on the lower rear quarters and trunk. There is no rot or rust, any rusty sheet metal that needed to be addressed was cut out and replaced. This was done by a very experienced body shop that specializes in only classic car restorations. They do this type of high-end body work on a very regular basis and are perfectionists. Look at the before and after pix of the trunk and lower rear quarters and you’ll see that the work was done properly. It was then skim coated, sanded many, many times and ultimately painted in a downdraft spray booth. Underside has surface rust only. I do drive the car regularly and so there are now a few chips, scratches and one small bubble. I put sound deadener in the trunk and later removed it. It did take a few chips of paint with it so it’s no longer perfect looking. I also added sound deadener inside the doors and behind the rear seat. Overall it gives it a more solid quieter ride. (Except when you want it to be loud, then you can open the automatic exhaust dumps!)Interior: Good shape overall but older. Some wear and a few rips. Good size rip in the driver seat. Driver quality all the way around. Chrome is not perfect, headliner does sag a little in some areas. New package tray installed in 2019. Door panels are good but rough in some areas along the bottom. Engine: The car did not have the original 389 when I acquired it. In 2018 I had R&L Motors in Madbury NH build a 455 for the car. It was dyno’d and showed a max of 483 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 516 foot pounds of torque at 4200 rpm. I have the build specs, parts list and dyno info. It was built to be stout but street-able and uses regular high octane gas. The motor and tranny were installed by the same shop that did the paint and body work. Aluminum radiator added. Less than 1,000 miles on motor.Exhaust: Mufflers and exhaust were professionally around 2010. Original manifolds. Automatic exhaust dumps were installed so at the push of a button I can open the dumps and have open exhaust – I can then close it back up automatically. Transmission: Non original TH400. Rebuilt in 2018 when the 455 was installed. New torque converter no stall converter..Rear Axle: In 2018 I put a new Fabcraft Trophy Trac differential in the car with 3.64 gears. The assembly and install was done by Austin Machine. Some gear whine at certain speeds which is normal for a high performance differential. I can include the original open differential with the car. Electrical: All exterior lights are in good working order to include the headlights, tail lights, fog lights, blinkers and the plate light. Horn is intermittent and backup lights not working right now. All interior lights are also in good working order to include the dash lights, high beam light, blinkers and console gauge lights. Aftermarket water temperature & oil pressure gauges are functional as is the original tachometer. Someone added a Pontiac vacuum gauge which looks cool but doesn’t work. New wiper motor installed in 2020. Automatic front windows work but passenger side sometimes needs a little help when closing. Wheels & Brakes: The aluminum 8 lug drums were completely re-lined by Z&L machining Illinois in 2016. This was very expensive. Because they are aluminum, they can only be resurfaced so many times before there’s no metal left. I had them re-lined. Some minor chattering under heavy braking. Power brakes with dual master cylinder and proportioning valve added in 2018.Miscellaneous: The original radio doesn’t work.I’ve got the dyno and engine build info as well as invoices for the differential and wheel re-lining. I have a lot of invoices from the shop who did the install and also parts lists from the engine build. Terms of sale: If you’re a serious buyer I can arrange to take you for a ride but please bring a mask and gloves. I am willing to accept a $500 deposit via PayPal and will then issue a bill of sale that notes the deposit and that a balance of $41,500 is pending to complete the sale. I would then like payment in full within 3 days. I will not ship the car or sign over a title until I have funds in hand and cleared through my bank and yours. This could take 10-14 days. Any shipping arrangements are to be made by the buyer. Car can only be shipped or picked up once the funds clear.
