Description of 1975 Pontiac Firebird TRANS AM |
Welcome.XXXX PLEASE DONT CLICK BUY IT NOW WITHOUT FIRST CONTACTING ME XXXX For sale here for the very first time is one of my favorite cars from our collection. VIN# 2 W 8 7 S 5 N 5 5 2 8 3 3 This 1975 Pontiac Trans Am rolled off the Norwood Ohio assembly line on April 22, 1975 and remained with its original owner until 2016. the car was garage kept its entire life and has been extremely well cared for and it shows. we can only hope the next caretaker will continue that role for many years to come. The car retains its original color code 75 Buccaneer red on the exterior and code 19W black custom vinyl onthe interior which is in amazing original condition. the door panels are exceptional as are the original seats and carpet with no visible signs of wear or fading. The Trans Am still retains all of its original equipment from the factory with exception the battery and the original 1975 BF Goodrich steel belted radials which were only removed last year @ 036,000 miles for obvious safety reasons in favor of new Radial Ta's. i have a picture of the car with the original tires still mounted, as well the original Bf Goodrich spare is still present in the trunk. The car is equipped with its original L78 400ci engine paired with its original M21 close ratio 4 speed manual transmission. it runs and drives as it should with its very low mileage.i could continue to list everything in the car that is original but i will just mention it again, every single part on this car is original as it left the factory with the exception of the battery and tires...and yes the transverse muffler and exhaust with the chrome extensions are still original. With the exception of the clock which works intermittently, every single function on the car works perfectly and nothing is broken or out of place. 2 sets of original keys are present as are all books, manuals and literature that would have been present on dealer delivery. The original factory to dealer invoice is present as is the Pontiac dealer window sticker listing additional ordered options, selling dealer and m.s.r.p which back in 1975 it was a whopping $5,408.60. hard to believe you have to add another zero to get anything decent present day ! The current and original mileage is showing as 037,034 miles that is 100% original and has not rolled over. i have no problem including and notarizing an odometer disclosure statement to that fact. when i was presented with the opportunity to purchase the car i just randomly asked "whats it got for miles" and when told i answered with a "yaahh right".... well i knew from 30 feet when i first saw it the representative wasn't lying and then i opened the door and that it was the real deal ! I dont recall what condition the roads were in 45 years ago but they couldn't have been anywhere close to how nice they are today. when i look at the car and think as to how on earth it faired out that well over the course of 45 years and it amazes me. its not like a rotisserie show car that's perfect in every way, finished with the newest materials with thousands of hours and $85,000 later ... no its a 45 year old survivor that's been hidden away from the elements, from the snow, from the sun and from animals and mice that as we know all of those can and will completely destroy a car like this. again its 100% original, the wheel arch flares have some chips, there are some light scuffs from putting the car cover on and off a million times, the car has never been entirely repainted and some panels, the trunk spoilers and both bumpers still retain their original factory paint. other panels have been resprayed at some point in the cars life for one or more reasons but it is all very uniform and matches very well and from what i was told it had not been touched since the 80's. What you are seeing in the photos is exactly how the car is standing in front of you, no sneaky photos, nothing left out or angles changed to hide stuff. its the cleanest original Trans Am i've personally ever seen. THERE IS ZERO RUST ANYWHERE ON THE BODY OF THIS CAR. Im very proud to have owned this car and enjoyed the time ive spent with it but its time for this gem to find a new stable to call home. As always i can handle all your shipping/transport arrangementsfor you should you not have the ability to do that on your own. i prefer to transport fully enclosed in trucks similar to the units used by Reliable Carriers. rates are from my experience the best in the business with the carriers i use. PLEASE DONT MESSAGE ASKING FOR SHIPPING QUOTES- FLORIDA IS $1700, TEXAS IS $1700, CHICAGO IS $1400, NEW YORK IS $2000. USHIP IS ALSO A GOOD TOOL FOR SHIPPING QUOTES BUT A LITTLE ON THE HIGH SIDE. THANK YOU. The buyer will be responsible for the cost of transport from our property in Mount Vernon Washington 98273 XXXXX Please do us both a favor and be respectful of this process and make sure you have your finances in place, the wife approves, and its the car you want. i know we all have dreams but please do all your dreaming and make that decision prior to contacting me. XXXXX Finally, the car needs nothing and is fully functional, turn key and i wouldn't hesitate to jump in and drive it from Seattle to Los Angeles with absolute confidence. Please check out my feedback for remarks from many new owners of cars i've sold out of my small personal collection. Thank you for stopping by ! |
