Description of 1984 Pontiac

Up for grabs is this 1984 Pontiac Trans Am. It has the PHS documents to prove its make, model, year and options. It's a Southwest car, being Vegas based from 1984-2014. It started out in life as a 305/5-speed/3.73 gear car. Not content with the weak drivetrain, the car has since been upgraded. Substantially. Under the hood is a brand new, built with all-new components, supercharged LS3. It utilizes forged internals, 416 cubic inches (6.8L), a Brian Tooley Stage 3 Boost Cam, CNC-ported LS3 heads and a Magnuson TVS 2300 blower. It has MSD coil packs and plug wires, a Holley oil pan, and just about every aftermarket component that you can throw at the engine. The serpentine system is a Concept One Pulleys Kit, that retails for $2300 -- its based around the 5th-gen Camaro design. A Flex-a-Lite heavy duty cooling system keeps temps in check. The car is very loud, since it uses Sinister long tube headers and a single, 4-inch exhaust from Hawks Motorsports. No cats. No mufflers. The blower uses DW high volume fuel injectors, and the pump is an external 1200hp capable unit from Holley -- no gas trap door needed. The engine is backed by a brand new Tremec Magnum 6-speed from American Powertrain. An American Powertrain clutch and Quick Time bell housing sit in place. The rear end is an equally new Strange S60 rear axle with a limited slip differential and a 3.73 gear set. A steel Strange driveshaft connect the trans and rear axle to each other. BMR Suspension products complete the undercarriage; weld-in subframe connectors, driveshaft loop, sway bars, chassis brace, adjustable Panhard bar, torque arm, rear lower control arms and A-arms. Fully adjustable QA1 coil-overs sit at all four corners, as do Baer SS4 brakes. The wheels are 17x9.5 CTWs with Falken Azenis tires. Inside, the headliner and sun visors were replaced, AutoMeter gauges replaced the stock dials and the front seats are now Corbeau LG1 suede seats with 5-point harness. The stock seats are long gone, and there is no back seat with this car. The car makes 660hp at the tires on pump 93-octane fuel. There's over $50,000 invested in this car, so I'm selling it at a discount for the asking price. Open to offers, but low-ballers will be ignored.
