Description of 1990 Pontiac Grand Prix McClaren Turbo Edition |
Very rare McClaren Grand Prix Turbo Edition (1/1500) which was stored for the past 15 years in a climate controlled building. The car represents an all original driveline and exterior wide body flare package which show NO cracks or broken hangers /brackets. The McClaren edition features the 3.1 V6 Turbo, dual exhaust and ABS/BBS Wheels with new performance tires of less than 300 miles. Wide body kit displays a nice touch including hood with louvers, fender flares and rear spoiler. The original interior has -0- rips or abuse, remarkable shape for the age, all the seat controls of multiple lumbar adjustments work fantastic. The factory stereo has incredible sound which includes a cassette and EQ on the dash. All options including navigation screen work as new. The exterior glass is excellent for the exception of older window tint needs to be removed, but saved the seats from sun fade out. The vehicle runs excellent and every option functions. The vehicle mechanically was taken care of, all fluids are full, tires replaced 300 miles ago and a complete rebuilt transmission was installed professionally 2750 miles ago ($1450). My intent was to restore like the one I had in high school, but decided to purchase an earlier musclecar.Included in sale is new fuel pump and fuel filter in boxes. This rare car could be driven as is but would be simple to restore:A) All fluids should be changed, due to vehicle being stored not overdue miles.B) Clearcoat needs to be applied on fenders and spoiler, color sanded and reapplied will fix any issues.C) The hood and passenger door needs paintless dent repair. The hood has a rolling wrinkle, the door has door dings.D) Remove window tint on side and rear windows.E) Change brake fluid and bleed system.F) Replace original floor matsG) Replace one octagon cast muffler tip. Simple vehicle to restore and parts are readily available. Vehicle sold at no-reserve and is for sale locally. Frank 402-578-5624 for questions, vehicle is located in Omaha, Nebraska. |
