Description of 1977 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition

1977 Pontiac Trans Am Special Edition Y-82 with Hurst T-Tops. Yes, The Smokey and the Bandit Car. 6.6 Liter, 400 cid 4 speed with Hurst shifter. This is a true barn find, it has been garaged since 1988; If you are looking for a TA to restore this is the one you have been looking for. This car is all there! These cars are going for 70K - 90K+ restored and are only getting harder to find, this car is a steal at 7K. It has a lot of rot and will need floors, inner and outer quarter panels, trunk floor and a rear body panel. The only things that have been touched are, the previous owner lost the key and took apart the steering column and it is still apart, and I took out the tranny to check the numbers. The engine turns over and has all original parts. I have documentation on the car going back to 1982 and have a PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) with the original build sheet and other documentation.
