Description of 1967 Pontiac Firebird

Vehicle Details

This vehicle is not show condition but very very nice car. I had a new stainless steel gas tank and stainless sending unit installed a few years ago. I also updated the rear end at the same time, it had a 10 bolt single track rear end with very low gears I installed a 12 bolt posi rear end with 373 gears in it's place and replaced the leaf springs and shackles at that time and it has what I think is factory traction bars which if I remember correctly meant if that is true it's a factory 400 car. . I also installed stainless steel fuel lines and a new fuel pump at that time. And a new Holley 750 double pumper at that time. It has the original drum front brakes on it. Overall the car is very nice. The paint is nearly perfect in my eyes but I am not a professional paint guy I see one very small imperfect spot on the trunk lid and a couple chips on the driver's side rocker area, I don't see any rust really. I don't know if the engine is matching numbers I couldn't find numbers on the block but I did find some on the heads and they were 330hp 1968 heads if my memory serves me. It runs great drives good and shifts as it's supposed to. As I said before the car isn't perfect it needs some things the big back tires rub over bump, the traction bars are low and hit the ground a lot. The speedometer works but not accurate, the electric system is not perfect and will need some work, headlights work but I don't think the blinkers work with the headlights on. But 3 of them work with the headlights off. Brake light is on but the brakes work ok. Newer dual exhaust, one wheel stud missing on the back. I installed new aftermarket radio in the glove box along with Polk audio speakers etc but I bought a kit for the glove box so I didn't have to cut the dash.
