Car was built several years ago as street/strip car with 9 inch Ford/Detroit Locker, 3.89 gears, hardened steel 33 spline axles, and subframe connectors. Suspension was all new front and rear including leaf springs w/ Jonny Calvert rear bars and adjustable shocks. Engine is a built, bored and balanced (.060) 400 ci small block Chevy w/ steel rods, Comp Cams grind #CS 285B-6. Vortex heads w/ 205 intake valves w/ 1.5 and 1.6 aluminum roller tip rockers. Oversized oil pan, high volume oil pump. Electric fuel pump w/ half inch fuel lines and new fuel tank Solid motor plate and transmission mount. Built Turbo 350 w/ 4K stall converter, manual valve body w/ reverse shift pattern and trans brake.Car has mufflers in the header collectors and under car, battery disconnect, full roll cage with door bars for access on both sides, 4 wheel disc brakes. Car has a 1978 front clip on it and I have titles for both 1978 and 1981 vehicles. VIN on car is for 1981. Car is a T-top. All weather stripping was new at time of build. Tires are old and will need to be replaced for street driving. Was considering an LS swap, but decided to sell as-is. Car has been sitting on concrete, covered and under carport for more than a year. Prior to that car was garage kept.
