Had since 1997. 2nd owner. Had a six until 2005. New rings. Grille is wire brushed and polished. 1951 eight as in picture. Dodge ignition 6 volt. Bonneville 20 gal tank plus aux tank. Wider drums, 1955 trans shifts faster. 4.11 rear. Chevy truck springs. 1947 everything- radio heater seats mat dash fan steering radiator. Window glass online order it’s on way. Paint original sanded plus primer plus temp green paint by air sander. 150, 220, 400 grit paper.Rain rust you see. All rust cut and welded, screwed by 2020. Trunk and floors fine. Rear seat heater in with pipes. New hood ornament. New wires everywhere. Dimmer switch, brake switch, dome light switches, headlight switch all done in ten years. 6 volt generator and starter rebuilt here. Just did ignition switch after 80 years. I grew up in SCCA races, 24 sports cars then three Pontiacs. Tech fanatic I lead car clubs. |
