Here up for sale is a beautiful 1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible. Car has a 400 hooked to a factory 4 speed. Motor, trans and rear end are all original and completely numbers matching. Real 400 car. I have the window sticker for the car and I have all the PHS paperwork. I also have a book of receipts going back to the early 80’s. I have all the maintenance records on the car. Original motor was rebuilt by one of the previous owners and I have the receipt. Trans was also rebuilt at some point in its life and I have the receipt. All the maintenance the car received over the years is here and documented. Some cool history. Car runs and drives great. No issues with anything. Just did a full tune up and all fluids changed. Ready to hit the road and enjoy the rest of the summer with top down. I put about 100 miles on it the past week or so. I got the car from an old man that had the car restored. He is older now and starting hitting and bumping into the garage the times he rarely used it. It has damage on both sides with scratched paint and some dents. There is absolutely No rust present anywhere on this car. Car was always stored indoors. As for the floors they are in perfect shape, No rust anywhere, no signs of patching anywhere. Truly beautiful on the underside. Trunk floor is also perfect with no rust or patching anywhere. No rust. The interior is in great shape. No rips or tears anywhere. Presents very well. The dash is in great shape. All the electrical items work. Gauges, switches, heat, lights, horn, etc….all in working order. The original AM Radio even works. The convertible top is in great shape but does have 2 small spots. I wouldn’t replace it yet because it looks pretty new. Works up and down with no issues. Rear window is in tact . All glass is in good shape. The suspension, brakes, all lines, bushing etc… Everything was all rebuilt and is all new. The tires are in great shape with plenty of life left and are on the original PMD steel wheels. The car is truly in great shape and needs nothing but a paint job to be on the next level and a show car. My plan is to bring it into my buddies shop over the winter and do a full restore on the paint. Fix the damage and make the car perfect. I would then most likely list the car for double what I am asking now. I have 2 other projects up before this one and my buddies shop is busy. Figured I would list it to see if any interest before it gets put out of the way till it’s next up in line. It’s a beautiful Firebird 400 with only 1202 being made. Also how many are around that are all numbers matching and not a clone. The car is listed locally so I have the right to end the auction anytime if it sells. Will also accept any reasonable offers.
