Description: Recently completed and professionally built 1967 Pontiac Firebird Coupe. Power comes from a 455 c.i. big block Pontiac engine and it is backed by a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission and 12-bolt differential. Everything in and on this car is either new or refurbished.

The car was completed in 2022 and it has been driven less than 200 miles. Receipts are included. Selling for personal reasons.

This Pontiac was built to be a reliable and strong performing “Street Machine/ Resto-Classic” and draws attention at all cruise-in’s and shows.

Body & Paint:

The Firebird body appears straight and to have had new floors (including trunk), rear quarter panels and door skins put in place. The 2-stage urethane contrasting silver and gray metallic paint looks fantastic. No chips or cracks.

Windshield is new as well as all the weather stripping on the car.

Exterior chrome is in good to excellent condition. The front bumper is original.

The Pontiac was rewired using a ‘Painless’ wiring harness.

Exterior lighting and lenses were replaced as needed.

Windows are tinted.

Engine & Transmission:

1976 Pontiac 455 c.i. engine, built to run on “pump” gas.

Thumper hydraulic ‘flat tappet’ cam

Power Master high output alternator and high torque starter

Edelbrock intake manifold

Holley 750 cfm Double Pumper Carburetor

HEI ignition

Custom headers w/ Flowmaster mufflers and a complete 3” exhaust system w/ ‘H’ pipe.

Champion oversized aluminum radiator w/thermostatically controlled fans.

New fuel tank and lines.

Professionally built Turbo 400 transmission with 2400 rpm stall converter.

Chassis & Differential:

New front-end with polyurethane bushings and HD springs.

KYB shocks all the way around.

Power steering

Power brakes w/ proportioning valve (disc front, drum rear).

Detroit speed rear leaf spring conversion kit

12-Bolt differential with an Auburn posi-traction unit and 3.55:1 gears.

New 15” Pontiac Rally II wheels with Cooper tires measuring 215/65R/15 front and 245/60R/15 rear.

Interior:

Stock interior with recovered front seats, original back seat & door panels.

Original Pontiac seatbelts.

New carpeting, headliner, door handles & window cranks.

Factory gauges function.

Custom console and shifter.

Radio delete plate (although there is an antenna).

Heater.
