This GTO Convertible was built in December of 1968 and came originally with: “Solid Special”, special order Windward Blue Metallic Paint GM 87 (Currently painted in a bit lighter color of blue. Would be really easy to change back to factory color since the body is in great condition.) Original 400ci High Output Motor (Currently has a high performance 455 in it, see original motor notes below.) Dual Exhaust Covered Headlamps(The vacuum open doesn’t work, so used manually and work.) BlackInterior Black Floor Carpet Power Convertible Top F1, GM Code 87 Windward Blue Metallic Paint Bucket Seats Center Console Tilt Steering Column Power Antenna (This was removed during restoration) Turbo Hydromatic 400 Automatic AM/FM Stereo (Still in the car, not connected) Tape Stereo (No longer with the car) Seatbelts(Only has front belts now.) Rally II Wheels(May not be the ordinals on it now.) Rally Gauges & Clock(See notes below.) Soft Ray Glass Remote Mirror Hood Tach(Missing from when hood was replaced during painting) Pontiac Wide-track Road Handling Suspension *Car was repainted about 16 years ago, due to faded original paint and rust. There were no accidents, no dents, just metal repairs to replace “all rust. This work was nicely done and difficult to tell. There is no rust now.
