Description of 1979 Pontiac Trans Am

I have owned this car for about 17 years. I had it rebuilt about 15 or so years ago. New paint including all jams, rebuild engine, added aluminum heads, slightly larger cam, Doug headers, transmission rebuilt, new clutch and plate, new brakes, shocks and all new jam and door seals. The car had 0 rust and was nice, I just wanted it to be as nice as I could get it. I paid $32K for the work back then so today that would cost $60K+. I have maybe driven it 500 miles or so in all that time, start it every few months. Took it out today for this first time this year. Fired right up and drove as nice as ever! Always stored in temperature controlled garage. Interior is all original and is in outstanding condition. I highly doubt you find any nicer 1979 out there specially with the 400, 4 speed. I think I still have the original heads in storage as well. I did notice today when I washed it the front plastic pieces on the front bumper rotted and broke so those inserts needs replaced (see photos). Car also has 4 wheel disk brakes, power windows and power brakes, AC, power steering, tilt wheel, the clock even still works. The stereo is not working. I do have it set up to plug an ipod in for music. The instructions I gave the company that did all the work was "I want it to look as close to perfect as it can be" the paint job alone back then was $19K and it looks as good today as did when I picked it up. Happy to answer any questions you might have, can also be inspected at my home in WA with an appointment. Must be a serious buyer. I paid $18K for the car when I bought it so I am into it about $50K. I ordered the grill inserts so assuming they show up this week I will have those replaced before it leaves my house. they were pretty cheap $80 for the set.
