Description of 1939 Pontiac Other

This is a pretty solid old Poncho. The problem areas are the floors. trunk bottom and on the body where the rear fenders mate up to the body. The latter area has been fixed in the past. but not by me and may have happened decades ago. since the repair seem to be brazed in. Another area may be the rear apron under the trunk. there appear to be repairs there. The Pontiac has all of the exterior trim. nbsp; The dash seems to be very complete. The soft parts of the interior have been pretty much eaten away by mother nature and her furry little minions (mice). The straight 8 engine is stuck; sometime in the past the head was pulled and never replaced. The engine bay area is cavernous and should accept any small or big block. The frame is excellent without any signs of anything more than surface rust. This car is very original and has never been cut or rodded. Maine in a state where vehicles over 15 years old do not require title. but I have sold vehicles in the past by acquiring a "Verification of Ownership" through the state's DMV.
