DSS Racing 4. 125" bore forged flat top 2 valve relief floating pistons. JE Pistons gapless second ring with plasma-moly top ring and standard oil ring. ARP main studs. ARP head bolts for Edelbrock Performer RPM (60599) 75cc chamber cylinder heads (ported exhaust). RPW SFI flexplate. Fluidampr SFI harmonic balancer. Crane Energizer aluminum (1. 65:1) rocker arms. Comp Cams Magnum pushrods (9. 25"). Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold port-matched to heads. Holley 4150HP carburetor (750 cfm) vacuum secondary. Flowkooler water pump. aluminum radiator with two electric fans and factory mechanical clutch-fan. Hedman headers for first-gen firebird with round-port heads (3" collectors). Flowtech mufflers with dual 2. 5" exhaust. Comp Cams XE268 hydraulic flat tappet camshaft. Hughes GM25HDX converter with anti-balooning plate for power-adders. PATC "Raptor" 375THM transmission with hardened input shaft Fairbanks shift kit. 34 element sprag. etc. (look it up online). Pontiac 9. 3" rear axle with 3. 64:1 gear on a spool from Fabcraft in Dallas. new bushings and ball joints on front end with idler arm. sway bar bushings. pitman arm and tie-rods. solid motor mounts. Energy Suspension polyurethane transmission mount. Lokar shifter. Lokar dipstick. 3. 5" Summit tachometer on dash with shift light. Butler Performance midplate for starter mounting with 375THM on early Pontiac motor. 500 watt amplifier and 10" subwoofer with stereo/CD/MP3 player. Car needs a cosmetic restoration. but looks good enough to be proud of in original condition. My intention was to build a tribute car to the early Super-Duty Catalinas. These cars were some of the first "muscle cars" ever built and were top performers at the drag strip in their day. |
