Description of 1977 Porsche 930 Turbo |
1977 Porsche 930 - last of the non-intercooled Turbo. This is a good and very original driver quality car. Great paper trail with extensive service records and the original window sticker. Accessories are complete: Two keys Original Books Spare Tire Tool Kit Jack As far as we can tell this is an original, nmodified car, ven down to the original Blaupunkt head unit. The paint, hile its original color, s not original - it appears to have various touch-up work done in either spots or full panels over the years. While the paint is, ell, driver quality', here does not appear to have been any bodywork done, nd the paintmeter readings do not show anything of concern. This is a rust-free car. The interior is in very good condition with only minor pulling on the upper dash, nd the seat leather is in very good condition with very little bolster wear, irm cushions, nd no tears. The car came from the factory with the Sport Seats and the Electric Sunroof. The car starts instantly with no smoke and no drama. It drives well, hifts properly, rakes straight, nd makes proper boost. The A/C functions properly. The compression is good on the motor, eading 112-118psi across the board. What has been serviced recently: New Battery Right bank exhaust gaskets replaced to address exhaust leak Check boost, andling, erify operation of accessories Install new A/C belt, vacuate and vacuum test system, efill R-12 refrigerant, erify operation. Change Oil and Filter/check fluid levels Replace front and rear lid struts Service front fuse board Lubricate and adjust heater boxes What was noted in the inspection: Miscellanous oil seepages (return tubes, cavange pump, am seals, nd bottom of oil cooler) Hand throttle inoperative Play in RR Sway Bar link Missing rear wiper arm and link Cracks developing in air boot Brake fluid is at 3% moisture So, his is a great 930 for somebody who wants a turn-key driver, r it's a good candidate if somebody wants to do an engine reseal and cosmetic restoration. I reserve the right to cancel bids from questionable accounts. I do not have patience for non-paying bidders. ANY inspections, inancing, r anything else upon which the deal would be contingent must be addressed BEFORE bidding. We are a reputable dealership with clear title in hand, nd we expect bidders to only bid if they intend on purchasing the car. Thank you. |
