Its no secret that the air cooled Porsche market has been on the upswing over the last few years, mong the most desirable have been anything wearing the "Carrera" moniker from the RS through the 3.0 Carrera.

This is an interesting car with a lot of very neat details that you only see on cars that have not been neglected or molested. With 68xxx original miles, he patina on this car really sets it apart. From what I can tell, he rear two thirds of this car look to be mostly original paint. At the very least the hood and front bumper were painted many years ago with lacquer paint and show some crazing.There are several parking dings in both doors, paintless dent guys should be able to resolve these, nd I think preserving as much original paint as possible is a wise choice. No accidents ever and no rust.

The interior isexcellentand exactly whatyou want to seefrom an unrestored car. The dash is perfect and seats look excellent with no rips or excessive wear. A period MOMO "Jacky Ickx" steering wheel has been fitted in place of thefactory unit.

Mechanically the car runs very well. The original case was replaced, ikely under warranty, ith a 100% unstamped 2.7 mag case. The unstamped case alone is worth a small fortune to a 73/74 RS owner trying to restore a non numbers matching car.
