I'm moving into a house with a smaller garage at the end of August, o I need to sell my 1987 Carrera. Fresh off a $500 full detail by an obsessive exotic car specialist, he all original paint (except for the hood, hich has been resprayed at some point in the car's life) looks fantastic. I was driving the car daily, ut it looks too perfect after the detail to let it out of the garage. It drives as good (or even better) than it looks-- tight steering, o suspension squeaks or rattles, ery smooth shifting, nd great power. Here are the details: -Factory whale tail with excellent rubber, riginal 16"Fuchs, nd original hood with option sticker -Engine rebuild (with receipts) about 7,000 miles ago. Tons of service records going back to 1994. -Momo Monte Carlo wheel with red stitching, ery nice original steering wheel included. No dash cracks, nd an easily removable dash cover to keep it that way. There are a few scuffs on the bolster of the driver's seat, ut the rest of the interior is excellent. Recent Porsche-specific keyless entry kit with two remotes from Bergvill FX. New stereo (Kenwood) and door speakers (Rockford Fosgate)- no cutting of door steel for the installation. -Recent new brakes (including everything- calipers, otors, earings, tc.), lutch slave cylinder, hermostat-to-engine oil line, elts, ires, ront spoiler, ood struts, elican poly-graphite sport engine and trans mounts, antastic front control arm bushing kit from Rebel Racing Products, nd many other little things. New clutch and starter 5,000 miles ago. -Next project I'd do is the spring plate bushings. It's not urgent, ut I've ordered the parts (the Elephant Racing rubber kit) and they're included. -A/C converted to R134A before I bought the car, ut it's not blowing cold. May just need a recharge, ut I haven't dug into it. -Tools, riginal spare tire and compressor, nd owner's manual included -No smoke, nd no leaks since I had the engine-thermostat oil line replaced. My garage floor is spotless since then. -157k miles (odometer shows 137k, ut it was replaced under warranty when the car had 20k miles on it. There's a record and stamp for the replacement in the owner's manual. This is why the title shows "not actual mileage.")
