1989 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe black/linen U.S version Type 930. 300 bhp, 299 cc SOHC horizontally opposed air-cooled six-cylinder engine with a single turbocharger and Bosch electronic fuel injection, 50 five-speed manual transmission, ndependent front and rear suspension, nd ventilated and cross-drilled power disc brakes. Wheelbase: 89.4 in.
Enthusiasts often consider the 1989 Turbos to be the best year, s it was the only year that the Turbo was fitted with Porsche's bulletproof G50 five-speed manual transmission. They also boasted slightly increased performance over the original 3.0-liter models, s their 3.3-liter engine allowed for a 0—60 time of 4.6 seconds and a top speed of 172 mph. Production of the 930 ceased the following year, nd Porsche transitioned to the new Type 964 Turbo in March 1990. Ever since its introduction, he Porsche 911 Turbo has been the performance benchmark for the sports car industry.
