Description of 1978 Porsche 911 SC

I ended the listing prematurely. Still for sale, ut it's also on Craiglist with a lot of interest. It's not going to last more than a day or so... So if you want it, uy it now or make an offer! For sale is a great running 78' Porsche 911 SC. The odometer reads 140,900 miles, ut I had the motor replaced 2 years ago with an excellent running engine with 61,000 miles. I have since put approximately 8,000 miles on it since the work was done 2 years ago. The clutch was also rebuilt at this time. I've owned this car for 7 years, nd ironed out every single mechanical bug that is common with these older vehicles. It runs perfectly, nd I rarely have to take it to the shop for anything! As seen in the photos, t is not in perfect cosmetic shape, ut very decent for a car of it's age. Just some tiny scratches and small interior tears. I also had the ac removed. Anyone who knows anything about these cars, he ac barely worked, nd it's a lot of extra weight on the vehicle. If ac is a must, elican Parts sells an entire upgrade kit that bolts in for $1250.00. Personally, think driving with all the windows down and the sunroof open beats AC any day of the week. Unlike most Porsches for sale that supposedly "run great", lder Porsches have about 10 common issues that need to be taken care of so that they are fairly maintenance free. And I have taken care of all of them. This car is rarely in the shop. The turn signal high beam issue, ot start, uel pump, gnition, eat exchanger, ood unlock, lternator, un roof drains, ave all been resolved. This is my daily driver and can be for you too. This car is priced to sell. It's an excellent running car, nd it's value keeps going up at a ridiculous pace. They are also becoming virtually impossible to find. I never see anyone riding around in an older Porsche like this. 25k is firm. It's an excellent deal, o please only contact me if you are serious.
