Description of 1988 Porsche 928 S4 |
For sale is my 1988 black 928S4. The car spent all of its time in the southeast until recently and has never seen a winter. The car is not perfect. It has the typical rock chips and paint defects you would expect from a 27 year old, ut there are no door dings. The top of the spoiler has a few cracks in the 'poly' paint. It began to separate recently and now has a few cracks in it. I also have the original slotted wheels with good tires mounted, teering wheel, indow sticker, new front bumper and spoiler ($2,000+) that haven't been installed, ut are also included, s well as a couple of boxes of random spare parts collected over the years, also have a Porsche car cover. Also included are the shop manuals. The odometer quit working due to typical broken plastic gear. I have not wanted to fix it because everything else in the dash works as it should, nd I just don't want to risk breaking something else. It was fixed twice by previous owners, ut is currently not working again. Prior to my purchase, personally contacted the three prior owners to confirm maintenance history and current mileage of 139k. All maintenance is up to date and all of the stereotypical items that need to be repaired on the 928 is complete. I have over $30,000 in maintenance and upgrade receipts over just the last 12 years. If specific dates for any items are of use to you, lease let me know and I can look in the records.
