Description of 1982 Porsche 924 |
Two Porsche 924 Turbos : 1982: Mostly intact car. repainted. Interior has messed up HVAC controls. rear carpet missing. top of rear seat disintegrated. Power train intact except for: clutch master cylinder. j pipe from waste gate ( it was loose in the car ). Suspension and brakes are intact. brakes have no fluid in reservoir and don't work. This car has compression test readings of 90. 5. 0. 50. It will crank when hooked to a battery. but doesn't try to start. The engine will start with gas poured in mixture control unit. Runs on 4 cylinders. but wants to rev up. so it must be shut off immediately. This car shows 93000mi. This car has clear title. 1981: This car has crash damage to right front and has been scavenged for parts. The interior is mostly taken apart. Most parts seem to be strewn about in there. power train is intact except for : clutch master cylinder. j pipe from waste gate ( probably the one inside the other car ) starter ( also inside the other car ). No compression test done as there is no starter or ignition switch on the car. Suspension and brakes are intact except for brake master cylinder removed and laying in engine bay. This car shows 99000mi. This car has NO title. Both of these cars are quite rare and have many original parts specific to Gen. 2 Turbos. The brake and suspension parts could be used to upgrade an early 924 to 4 wheel disc brakes. . I just obtained these cars and am offering them as parts for 931 aficionados. I can show these during evenings and feel free to phone 260-906-6072 with questions during evenings ( est ). Thanks. NO SHIPPING. I can assist with loading. but whoever picks up these cars should be familiar with maneuvering and loading dead cars with NO brakes. |
