This is a really amazing Porsche 928. The car has been a California car it's entire life. I purchased it a little over a year ago. It had been kept in a storage unit for 10-15 years. While this maintained the condition of the body and mileage it required a lot of work to get the car into a reliable state of use. Here is what I have done with the car: Checked for Thrust bearing failure- all components withing factory tolerance. Replaced all fuel, rake, nd vaccum lines. Top of engine refresh including all hoses and gaskets. New timing belt, ater pump, nd porken tensioner. New motor mounts. New Steering rack. New Tires. Replaced all fluids and filters. New heater core valve and AC vent actuator. Many more minor items too numerous to list. The car is a 1986.5 928. If you are familiar with these cars you know what that means. These cars have a few problematic areas all of which have been addresses. It is an amazing road car. The AC blows cold, he sunroof works, have put an updated stereo in the car.
The only items currently not functioning are the passenger side mirror motor and the spray jets for the headlights and windshield.Also the wipers are slow to operate. I am a harsh judge but I would say that the paint is an 8. Overall it's very deep and glossy but there are a few stone chips on the front that show (especially on the aluminum bits). The front spoiler has a crack as does one of the fog lamps. The pod has a couple of very small cracks. The rest of the interior is a 7-9 with the driver seat showing more wear but certainly no tears or rips. The car runs very strong and is a blast to drive.
