1950 Split Window Porsche Coupe 356 - Very Complete / Very Rare and Desirable!

This 1950 Porsche Split Window coupe comes with its Kardex/Certificate of Authenticity from the Porsche factory and I also have a Certificate of ownership/title in my name so shipping this 1950 Split coupe out of the country is not a problem. Spending 4 ½ years of metalwork, his rare 1st production year Split 356 window coupe is currently in bare metal for your personal inspection and ready for a proper nut & bolt restoration! Original color is Adria Blue Metallic with a Grey Corduroy interior. When I acquired the car, t still sported most of its original paint. This is the 1st. year of production for Porsche. Its also the 1st year Porsche relocated their location from Gmund, ustria to their current location today in Stuttgart, ermany. According to records, TOTAL of 343 1950 production Porsche Split coupes were ever built. The last chassis number for calendar year, 950 was #5410. Note that this is a 4 digit car built in 1950 (see Kardex) and NOT a 4 digit car built in 1951. BIG DIFFERENCE! Today, nly a handful 1950 coupes exist in various forms from total basket cases to complete museum show cars. This car would be the center piece to anyone starting a 356 collection.
