Vehicle Overview 1973 Porsche 911E The 911E model replaced the 911L in 1969. Designed to be a more comfortable, ore drivable car than the T (Touring) and a bit tamer than the 911S. The 911E uses the same Bosch mechanical fuel injection system as the 911S. From 1969 onwards the 911Ebenefitted from a new high - voltage capacitor ignition system that addressed the spark plug fouling problems exhibited in the older cars. Our car is not hampered by the BogeHydropneumatic Struts as it was ordered from the factory with optional Koni shocks. Our 911E is an original 83,300 mile US Spec. car that has been impeccably maintained, elivered in 07/1972 this light yellow beauty was delivered with a tan leatherette interior - with hounds tooth inlay's in the sport seats, n electric sunroof, nd forged alloy wheels. The car originally had the "White Foglamps" but sadly they have gone missing. While the 911E was not considered the top-performing standard version of the 911 in 1973 (that honor was reserved for the 911S), he E, as noted in contemporary reports as being faster from 0-100 than the S. Fewer than 1,125 coupes where produced for the 1972 model year.
