FOR SALE IS MY 1990 964 / 911 C2 THAT IS RUST FREE & IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. PLEASE READ MY DETAILED DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY. & FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME THROUGH EBAY WITH ANY QUESTIONS. A FEW QUICK BASICS:THIS CAR WAS PURCHASED OUT OF LOS VEGAS. NEVADA IN 2008. IT HAS BEEN IN WICHITA. KANSAS SINCE THEN. THE FORMER OWNER HAD THE ENGINE REMOVED TO HAVE IT REBUILT/UPGRADED TO A 3. 8. BUT THE REBUILDER STOLE HIS ENGINE. THATS WHERE I ENTERED THE PICTURE. I BOUGHT THIS CAR & PURCHASED A 1992 3. 6 FROM A 964 CALIFORNIA CAR THAT HAD 62. 50 MILES ON IT. I HAVE TITLE DOCUMENTATION TO VERIFY THE MILEAGE OF THE CAR IT CAME FROM. THE TOP END WAS RESEALED. VALVE CLEARANCES SET. SPARK PLUGS REPLACED. A LEAKDOWN TEST RUN. & THE ENGINE INSTALLED. ALL AT THE LOCAL PORSCHE DEALERSHIP. DURING THE LAST YEAR. THE BRAKE FLUID HAS BEEN FLUSHED. THE DISTRIBUTOR REBUILT WITH A NEW DRIVE BELT. DISTRIBUTOR CAPS & ROTORS. & AN ALIGNMENT PERFORMED. AGAIN AT THE WICHITA PORSCHE DEALERSHIP. TOP & INTERIOR:THE CONVERTIBLE TOP HAS UNDER 2000 MILES ON IT. nbsp; IT WAS REPLACED AT MORGAN BULLIEGH UPHOLSTERY HERE IN WICHITA. THE REAR WINDOW IS CLEAR & THE TOP WORKS SMOOTHLY. THE FABRIC IS SIMPLY PERFECT. THE INTERIOR IS A VERY EXPENSIVELY DONE CUSTOM OSTRICH & SUPPLE LEATHER. THE DOOR PANEL INSERTS & SEATS THAT ARE DONE IN OSTRICH ARE STITCHED IN THE EXACT FACTORY PATTERN & SPACING. & ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. EVEN MANY PURISTS WHO'VE SEEN THIS CAR HAVE GUSHED OVER THE INTERIOR. DRIVERS SEAT IS 12 WAY POWER. PASSENGER SEAT IS 8 WAY POWER. THE CARPET IS EXCELLENT. THE WHITE FACED GUAGES WERE PROFESSIONALLY DONE. & ARE ALL EXCELLENT. THEY ALL WORK. THE DASH HAS NO CRACKS. IT IS OVERALL VERY VERY NICE. BUT IT IS RAISED SLIGHTLY AT THE FRONT EDGE JUST LEFT OF CENTER. SEE PICTURES. THE VISORS ARE EXCELLENT. & STAY IN PLACE NICELY. EXTERIOR:BODY IS VERY NICE. THERE ARE ONLY 3 OR 4 SMALL SCATTERED PAINT CHIPS. & IF YOU LOOK AT THE PICTURES YOU WILL SEE THE DRIVERS SIDE OF THE REAR BUMPER COVER IS LIGHTLY SCRAPED. THERE ARE A FEW TINY DOOR DINGS. BUT NONE OF THEM HAVE CRACKED THE PAINT. THEY ARE VERY VERY HARD TO SPOT. AND IF YOU DON'T LOOK REALLY CLOSELY YOU WOULD NEVER SEE THEM. THERE IS A CLEAR BRA AT THE FRONT EDGE OF HOOD & ON LIGHT BEZELS. THE DRIVERS DOOR REAR EDGE HAS A CLEAR "BUMP" PROTECTOR EDGE. I CAREFULLY TRIED TO REMOVE IT BUT IT SEEMS TO WANT TO PULL A FEW CHIPS OF PAINT. SO I LEFT IT IN PLACE. HEADLIGHT LENSES HAVE VERY FINE STONE PITS. & VERY LIGHT OCCLUSION. BUT ARE STILL REALLY NICE & BETTER THAN MOST I'VE SEEN EVEN WITH WAY FEWER MILES. TAIL LIGHT LENSES ARE NICE. THEY ARE VERY CLOSE TO THE FACTORY RED. WITH ONLY A SLIGHT "PINK" SHIFT IN COLOR. I NOTICED TODAY THAT THE RIGHT LENS HAS A SMALL AMOUNT OF CONDENSATION INSIDE IT. THE WINDSHIELD HAS A COUPLE OF SMALL STAR BREAKS. & GENERAL STONE CHIPS AS WOULD BE EXPECTED FROM THE MILEAGE. TIRES. WHEELS. BRAKES & SUSPENSION:THE ORIGINAL D90 WHEELS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. & THE CAR HAS THE HIGHLY DESIRABLE FACTORY 17 "CUP" WHEELS. THEY ARE STRAIGHT. & IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE LEFT REAR HAS A SPOT OF CURB RASH JUST THROUGH THE PAINT. IT IS ABOUT 1. 25" LONG. IT WOULD TOUCH UP EASILY WITH A COLOR MATCHED PAINT STICK. (SEE PICTURE) FRONT TIRES ARE NEW SINCE THE RECENT ALIGNMENT. THEY HAVE LESS THAN 10 MILES ON THEM. THEY ARE YOKOHAMA 205/50R17 . 93W . THE REAR TIRES ARE YOKOHAMA 255/40ZR17 94W. TREAD DEPTH IS 7/32" ON THE LEFT & 4-5/32" ON THE RIGHT. THE COIL SPRINGS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED TO H&R "GREEN" LOWERING SPRINGS. AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES THE STANCE IS PERFECT. STRUTS ARE OEM. BRAKES ARE UPGRADED FRONT & REAR. FRONT & REAR PADS & ROTORS HAVE LESS THAN 2. 00 MILES ON THEM. THE ROTORS ARE CROSS-DRILLED AT ALL 4 WHEELS. THE REAR BRAKE CALIPERS HAVE BEEN UPGRADED TO THE 4 PISTON 1992 & UP OEM PORSCHE CALIPERS. UPGRADES:AS STATED. THIS CAR RIDES ON "H&R" GREEN SPRINGS. THE D90 WHEELS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH PORSCHE 17" CUP WHEELS. THE ORIGINAL "FLAG" MIRRORS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH THE 1992 & NEWER PORSCHE "CUP" MIRRORS. THE PRIMARY MUFFLER HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A "BILLY BOAT" STAINLESS PRIMARY MUFFLER BYPASS. THIS RESULTS IN A NICE POWERFUL EXHAUST NOTE WITHOUT THE HEADACHE INDUCING DRONE THAT IS CAUSED BY THE "G-PIPE" SECONDARY BYPASS PIPE. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT HAS A STICKER FOR A K&N FILTER. BUT I REMOVED IT & INSTALLED AN OEM AIR FILTER. A NO EXPENSE SPARED INTERIOR CUSTOMIZATION HAS BEEN DONE TO VERY HIGH STANDARDS. THE ENGINE DECKLID IS A FIBERGLASS NARROW BODY RS 3. 8 COPY WITH A CARBON FIBER SPOILER. THIS DECKLID NOW ON THE CAR COSTS APPROX. $1600. 00. I WAS GOING TO REINSTALL THE FACTORY SETUP. BUT I DECIDED I LIKED IT MORE THAN THE ORIGINAL SO I LEFT IT ON. (SEE BELOW FOR INCLUDED FACTORY DECKLID/SPOILER/HARNESS ASSEMBLY) THE ENGINE IS FROM A 1992 CALIFORNIA CAR. IT HAS THE MORE DESIRABLE 1992 & NEWER INTAKE MANIFOLD & RUNS GREAT. UNDERCAR:THERE IS A TYPICAL SMALL OIL LEAK. I THINK FROM THE CASE HALVES. IN ABOUT 1 1/2 YEARS IN MY GARAGE. I'VE GOT A VERY SMALL STAIN THE CONCRETE ABOUT 6" x 12". THE UNDER ENGINE PANEL WAS REMOVED BY THE PRIOR OWNER. I DO NOT HAVE ONE. YOU WILL FIND THAT MOST OWNERS OF THESE CARS REMOVE THEM FOR BETTER COOLING. IF YOU LOOK CLOSELY AT THE UNDERCAR PICTURE FROM THE FRONT. YOU WILL SEE THAT THE FRUNK PAN HAS BEEN CURBED A TIME OR TWO. AUDIO & EXTRAS:THERE IS AN ALPINE HEAD UNIT IN THE CAR. BUT IT WILL NEED AN AMPLIFIER TO BE FUNCTIONAL. CAR COMES WITH A PORSCHE BOOK SET & JACKET. ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT PICTURED. THE CAR WILL ALSO COME WITH A COMPLETE PORSCHE ORIGINAL DECKLID/SPOILER ASSEMBLY & WIRING HARNESS IF YOU WISH TO RETURN IT TO THE ORIGINAL LOOK. SPOILER & DECKLID ARE IN INCREDIBLE CONDITION-THEY WERE REMOVED FROM THE SAME 62. 00 MILE CALIFORNIA CAR THAT THE ENGINE CAME FROM-. HOWEVER THEY ARE IN FACTORY ORIGINAL "AMAZON GREEN" COLOR & WILL HAVE TO BE REPAINTED TO MATCH THE CAR IF DESIRED. IF YOU HAVE THIS CAR SHIPPED & WANT THE FACTORY DECKLID. I MIGHT ADD THAT AT TIMES THE CABIN FAN MAKES A LITTLE SQUEAL. IT IS LIGHT & INTERMITTENT. THE DOME LIGHT HAS GOOD RETAINER PINS. BUT IT OCCASIONALLY DROPS DOWN & NEEDS TO BE POPPED BACK IN PLACE. THE PASSENGER WINDOW SWITCH ON THE DRIVERS DOOR IS SOMETIMES FICKLE. OTHER THAT THAT. EVRYTHING WORKS & FUNCTIONS AS IT SHOULD. THIS CAR DRIVES.
