1972 T targa - 3 owner car that was sold new in Atlanta, A where it had remained its entire life. Highly optioned car ordered in Gold Metallic with "appearance group E03" (S trim, front spoiler, ocker moldings, auges, teering wheel, tc) A/C, ways, tc. (see original window sticker below). The car was left outside for approx. 4 years so it leaked and rusted trashing theinterior. Have 2 very nice period correct replacement seats with seat belts. Some interior pieces are included but others will need to be sourced. 4 Cookie cutter wheels. It does have some typical rust issues. The car needs floor pans -- the rust is worst in the rear seat buckets and foot areas. The rear torsion bar areas are solid. Rockers are also solid. Front pan and front suspension mount points appear to be solid. All topside panels -- hood, enders, oors, ecklid, ice gaps, tc -- appear to be original and solid with only minor rust. Last picture in sequence is an example of a '72 in the original gold metallic color. COA, umbers matching - was serviced throughout its life by Franz Blam. Last on the road in 2008, ast fired about 2 years ago on an auxiliary tank and run briefly by a local Porsche shop for evaluation purposes only. Retains original MFI. Engine turns by hand.Once floor pans are replaced will be a great candidate for restoration.
