Only 300 of the 911 25th Silver Anniversary Carrera Coupes were produced for 1989 model year. There were 200 cabriolets built for a total of only 500 examples. Of these 300 coupes, nly 60 were built in Satin Black Metallic. These limited edition Porsches were built to celebrate the end of the G-body cars as well as the 25th Anniversary of the 911 (1964-1989). These cars featured a short shifting gear lever, ront/rear spoilers and limited production worldwide. They were only available in silver metallic or satin black metallic. Exclusive interior trim features included silk grey supple leather seats with black accent seat piping and silk grey velour carpeting that extended into the trunk area as well. The steering wheel, nee bar, hift boot, nd shift knob were also covered in silk grey leather. A Porsche Exclusive special stitched leather center console in silk grey housed an outside temperature gauge and cassette tape holders. The 16x6 and 16x8 Fuch wheels were also body-colored. The rear windshield wiper (on coupes) and front headlight washers are all part of this Special Edition 911's package. These special “last-year” Carreras are becoming highly sought after.

This Anniversary Carrera was built in January of 1989 and sold new by Major Porsche of Kansas City, O in October of 1989. Based on the COA and original window sticker, his Carrera was ordered with the following factory options:

Over the years, ach owner took excellent care of this rare 911 and serviced it regularly. We have all records from new. Most of the repairs were the normal routine factory recommended services. Highlights/recent services include:

Rebuilt front brake calipers (@63k mi)

Clutch (Sachs) replaced and new lightweight flywheel (@62k mi)

The current owner is an enthusiastic local collector who has an eye for exceptional cars. He purchased this 911 a few years ago and although he only drove it for less than 1,000-miles, e invested another $4,000 making sure this example was in tiptop cosmetic and mechanical condition.

As you can imagine, he car looks spectacular. Most of the paint is original except for the hood, oof, nd front bumper. There are minimal signs of use. The original factory finished Fuchs (painted to match body) look near perfect and wear new Michelin tires. The brakes have over 75% life remaining. The trim and glass look like new.

The interior is equally nice and looks like a car with half the miles. The special anniversary leather has no tears or stains. The dash is flawless as are the door panels and carpet. The headliner also looks great with no tears. All the gauges work properly including the clock. The A/C blows cold and the original Blaupunkt radio works great (new speakers).

The best part is the way it drives. These last of the G-body Carreras are wonderfully built cars. They are incredibly solid feeling. The throttle response feels crisp. Handling is tight and the car shifts smoothly. I can’t find any faults with its performance. This would make a wonderful touring car for Porsche events or shows.

This Carrera comes with the original spare, ack, wner’s manuals, ertificate of authenticity from Porsche, ir compressor, ool kit, ost records from new, nd the original factory window sticker.
