I purchased this car from an estate sale along with three other cars. The wife of the previous owner told me that her husband (now deceased) accidentally hit the back of the car with a tractor bucket. After the incident the car sat in storage for several years before the sale. All I have done since I purchased it is drain the fuel tank and replace the injection hoses and seals which were dried out from sitting. I have not replaced plugs, points, or done a tune up, but it does start easily, idles well, and has great acceleration. Brakes work good, tracks straight and true and shifts nicely, although the clutch pedal could use a slight adjustment. The rear bumper took the hit and has now been replaced. The impact did not hit the trunk lid or damage the tail lights. I had a local collision shop look at the damage and they felt they could pull out the dent most all the way, if not 100%. I am also including a full rear undamaged trunk clip with the sale if someone wants it. I had planned on restoring this car but simply not enough time and I need the space.
This is a really nice looking car and although needs a little going through due to its time in storage, it is a solid, nice running 914 with good features.
