1957 Porsche 356A Speedster - Rare Slate Gray - Low miles - Outstanding example

Here up for bids is this super sharp Porsche by Vintage Speedsters. Vintage Speedsters have been building quality replicas since 1988 and are considered to be the leader in reproductions of Porsche 356A Speedsters. Their cars feature a steel sub-frame that is pre-riveted and hand glassed into the body, resulting in an excellent handling car with great fit and finish.
Painted in the seldom seen factory color of Slate Gray, this Speedster looks, runs and drives excellent, having covered just 8600 miles from new.

Iconic looks from every angle. All 4 wheels are without flaw, tires are Kumho radials with low miles.

Windshield shows no wear. The headlight lens covers have a light window tint film on the inside, easily removable if not to your liking.
Aside from some rock chips on the nose, the car's only real flaw is a small paint blend seen in the 3rd photo below. It's mainly noticeable when you crouch right down in front of it. The 4th photo illustrates how unobtrusive it is from most angles.

As-new tonneau cover, boot and parcel shelf.

The interior is very well done and shows no wear.

All gauges work correctly, as well as the lights, signals, horn, etc. Dashpad is perfect, footwells are clean, the Coco Mats are a nice finishing touch.

The 1745cc motor fires to life immediately and simply runs fantastic. This little Speedster is a blast to drive - it shifts perfectly, handles great, makes good power and has a nice tight feel on the road. Some cars look good, some cars drive good -this one does both. You'll love the driving experience in this car, it's definitely grin inducing.
