1971 Porsche 911S. This coupe is a big but interesting project with some neat options. This car was purchased from its original owner sometime around 1976 and driven for about two years. The second owner lost control of the car and slid it into a pole around 1978. The car went in to the body shop to be repaired and was never finished, its been in storage since that time. The 37,900 miles are all original despite the current project condition. At this point, most of these cars need metal work. Obviously, the car will need work to the quarter panel, rocker and drivers door. Fresh, period sheet metal from Porsche is included. The rest of the car is not totally rotted out. This S came from the factory delivered in Bahia Red (1313-G) with a black leather interior. The leather sport seats are actually very solid and really only need a good cleaning, possibly some dye work. The leather is still soft and these will have an excellent patina in a restored car. The original motor (631xxxx) and MFI are still fitted but obviously have not been run in the better part of 40 years. The factory aluminum decklid is in good/restorable shape. A local viewing is welcome and encouraged with appointment. We are happy to help buyers worldwide with shipping and freight logistics.
