The car I am selling is my Porsche 914-8 It was built in 1972 and was sold as a 4 cylinder 1.7 liter air cooled vehicle. It has been professionally converted to water cooled, see pictures. This '72 was yellow originally, it has been repainted in dark gray, with a very a light almost imperceptible racing stripe front to rear on the passenger side. I have added the Hella driving lights, newseat beltsthat retract, a new throw-out bearing. The car has been converted to a hydraulic clutch instead of the cable system that was in the car originally. The engine is a standard 5.7 liter small block Chevy V8 with a Hollycarburetor. I am finding it difficult to get in and out of the car, at 6'4" and 220 pounds, the reason it is time to sell. There is no rust anywhere on thevehicle, including the hell hole. The tires have only a few hundred miles on them, the rims are 7x17, the tires are 205-45-R17, Pilot Sport. The front rotors are cross drilled, the clutch is a Kennedy. The car is fun to drive, it sounds fantastic. Someone younger needs to own and take care of this beauty.< object width="640" height="390"> < /object> < /p>
