This is a 1979 SC with an all steel slant nose conversion. I have had the car for 22 years. It has a fresh rebuild (200 miles) with all updates including steel head studs, carerra tensioners with stops to prevent collapse, cam line oil restrictors, rebuilt and flow matched fuel head, new injector o-rings, seals and inserts. JE pistons, new valve job and seals by Exotech. RSR rocker arm seals. All new bearings and oil pump. New spark plugs and wires, distrubutor cap and rotor. New oil lines and vent/breather lines. Brake calipers were beadblasted, painted and re-assembled with new seals, bleeders and new pads. All CV joint boots are new. All engine tin was powderpainted. Backdated heater system. Ceramic coated exhaust with NEW heat exchangers. New shift linkage bushings. Rear rubber is good and front is new (200 miles). The interior was redone a few years back and is in great shape. Anyone familiar with these cars knows about Dilavar head studs and failures. Repairing them is extremely expensive. Don't by an air cooled without this update.
