Description of 1968 Porsche 912

NO RESERVE AUCTION Welcome. You are bidding on a Porsche 912 coupe. Please take a look at the description and pictures. It has been repainted a metallic gray. The current paint on the car is showing its age and is in need of a repaint. This car has had rear flares added. This car does have rust issues. It has rust in the pan. front suspension pan and other rust scattered amongst the car. Interior: The interior of this car is in nice original shape. It still has its original seats. headliner. gauges. dash. etc. I was under the impression that this car has 56. 00 original miles and the shape of the interior tends to support that claim. Engine/Transmission: This car was recently awoken from a long term storage. The carbs have been gone through. the tank cleaned. the brakes gone through. etc. It was a very nice running driving car. however it appears there may have been some dirt that was recently pulled into the carburetor. The 5spd transmission did shift through the gears smoothly. however it has an issue with the first gear syncro(or linkage) as it is hard to get engage into first gear. Overall: This is a great change to get into an early 912 coupe. This would be a great car to restore. use as a driver or an early Porsche to play around with.
