This 1976 Porsche 914 started life as Light Ivory (White) but at some point in its 41 year history it was changed to Saturn Yellow many years ago. 7-10 due to its age. Still shinny and presentable. Looks good with a few rock chips on front and around rear spoiler. Has a few lines around trim. Overall it looks great for its age. The car was originally a California car then relocated to the Carolinas about 15 years ago and was owned by a pilot. Placed in an 11 year dry storage where it was still used on sunny weekends. The engine went to a local shop for a 2 year complete andoriginal restoration as many parts were hard to find as NOS. All electronics along with NOS injectors were located and used with the original numbers matching 2.0 liter engine was completely rebuilt at a cost of 5500.00. All of the original smog equipment was removed at this point. New clutch, New shift bushings, New Brake pads, New Rotors, New Calipers, and much more. A MOMO racing steering wheel was installed. The 76 Model of the 914 was fitted with the factory rubber bumper which added weight to the car and some say it changed the classic iconic look of the car so it was fitted with early model bumpers to preserve a more attractive look. The rubber bumpers will be included with the car if the new owner wishes. It has aNew set of Chrome fog lite covers. It also has a SHURE front spoiler which is rare and period correct along with a Porsche embossed rear Duct tail spoiler. It is an appearance group model with 5 Factory Fuchs wheels, along with console which sportFactory gauges. The interior shows some wear but is original with below average wear for its age. The seats show some pulling of the seat material but the bolsters look good. Ask as many questions as you will and I will be happy to respond. This car was documented by previous owner to have NEVER seen rain in the last 11 years. It has been driven less than 1000 miles during this time. The battery tray was replaced due to corrosion. Mileage on title shows 38k as being actual mileage but I cannot confirm due to age. Nothing 41 years old should be listed as rust free but this can be listed as low or surface rust due to inspection. It is a nice Classic Sports Car which can and should be driven often. It runs, Drives and shifts as it should. Has a small crack low in the wind shield due to a rock chip. Is about two inches long and is not in line of sight of driver and has not moved in 10 years. Every light bulb is present and is in working condition including license plate lights along with back-up lights. Has newer P O R S C H E sport side stripes. Also wrapped with newer Bridgestone Sport Radial tires. This car is an Excellent Driver. Carpet is nice as well. Sound deadening insulation under carpet. I'm sure I have left things out so please send questions for prompt answers.
