Description of 1975 Porsche 914

This 914 has less than 21K original miles, and was converted to Chevy small block power when almost new (7,000 miles). I purchased it from the original group of owners, David Cooper, of Cooper Technica, a restoration shop in Chicago, in 2014, re-did the suspension from the 4-cyl. bits to 911 Carrara front, and Renegade 5 bolt hub rears, back-dated her from the big heavy rubber bumpers, to a light weight set from 1974. Also added Boxter Brembo 4-pot calipers, new 930 turbo tie rods, 7 by 16 in. Fuch wheels, new Dunlop tires, new rear adjustable perch Bilstien coil overs, and a Honda 3.5L twin cam all aluminum engine, with 250 HP and 255 Ft. Lbs. It has a fresh ECU, by V-Tech Performance, fresh (as of May, 2017) 901 gearbox, rebuilt by Mike Lesniak, with billet intermediate plate, stock gearing, all new bearings, big 930 hub, CV's,and Renegade high strength axles, and boxed trailing arms, with Elephant Racing bronze bushings. Cooling is with a 1966 alloy Corvette rad, and 16in. Jaguar fan and shroud, with was fine with a previous 383 CSB of 459HP. With the Honda it runs at a constant 180 deg. Custom leather seats, extra gauges, tach has the anti-needle bounce mod, speedo corrected for tire size, fuel system all AN braided S.S. lines, with big filters, new fuel pump, new 19mm Master Cly.. Brembo Boxter brakes, 24mm front rotors. Body has Glasruit paint, in nice, but driver condition, no floor, longutinal, hell hole rust. Suspension is firm, quite, but comfortable, and had a $200. careful alignment. Kennedy Engineering adapter plate, flywheel and 9 in. clutch are new. The goal was a clean, stockish 914, that would shock people when you opened it up, and it delivers! Modern ECU controlled engine starts, idles, and runs to redline like a modern car, but with the OEM 911S muffler sounds like the six that it is. I have a build blog at 914World.com, and youtube video that eBay is refusing to let me list, but search youtube for " Porsch 914 V-6", and you will find it, or call me, and I can send you the links. Tom, at: 231-946-0724 (Yes, the correct original mileage is 20,940, but again, eBay would not upload the add till I punched in all those 99999's; apparently some filter thinks that is too little to be correct, and like trying to add the video link, i'm stumped!)
