This 1983 Porsche 928S is a European-market example that was brought to Washington state and federalized in 1988. Itis powered by a EURO Spec 4.7-liter V8 paired to a 4-speed automatic transaxle andbenefits from $2,400 in maintenance performed in July 2017. Work included an A/C service along with a newtiming belt and water pump. The car was ordered with cruise control, power windows and locks, and rare sunroof delete. The Pewter Metallic (956) finish shows some imperfections as noted and shown in the gallery. Factory 16″ phone dial alloys present at a similar level and are fitted with Toyo rubber. The burgundy interior hasvisible wear, including some splits on the dash and instrument pod surfaces along with some tears, fade, and cracking on the seat upholstery. The 4.7-liter V8 was good for 300 horsepower in Europeantrim when new. The service totaling $2,399 was completed earlier this month for a timing belt change, new water pump, new fuel pump, voltage regulator, and oil and filter change. An A/C service conducted at the same time included a new receiver, lines, and system flush.A multi-point inspection was also performed inJuly 2017 ascan be seen in the gallery.Multiple photos of the underside are also included. The 928 Euro spec is quite a bit more fun to drive than the U.S. spec and more powerful. The car runs and drives very well! Driving it you would not know it was an older sports car. The suspension is firm and tight, steering firm and tight, as well as the transmission shifts being quick and crisp. The motor revs very freely and has a nice rumble to it. A new stereo was just installed as well and works as it should, along with power antenna. A new battery has been fitted as well during the last service above.
