Up for sale is the rarest of the rare only the engine is for sale, the car is extra! a genuine 1973 Factory Stamped 911/83 engine case. Porsche Carrera RS third series engine 66313XX. Certified Factory stampings. Confirmed by Porsche Klassische in Stuttgart as being a Genuine Factory replacement engine. Ie never assigned to any Production RS. These engines were made in small batches of usually 3 to 5 at a time to satisfy the needs of their existing customers who had blown their original Carrera RS engines or for Factory supported race teams like Kremer racing in Germany, or Almeras Frère in France. The engine is currently in 2.9 RSR single plug form, and comes with freshly reworked heads, barrels and pistons, 930 cam housings, modified special grind SC cams, high butterfly RSR injection system with mag fuel injection stacks, freshly rebuilt 019 pump. All top end and injection work performed for Swiss client by Manfred Niederhoff in Germany circa 2010, with less than 500 kms since.
