Description of 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera |
PorscheCarrera 3.2 1987 G50 5 speed manual Well Maintained - No Accidents - Great Air-Cooled Carrera Performance Great Marine Blue color. MOMO sport steering wheel. Clean Carfax available. 1987 was a great year for the sought after 911 Carrera. The 3.2 liter 6 was a nice upgrade from the previous 3.0 engine as it included 80 new parts and a bump in power. This included an improved timing chain tensioner and upgraded Bosch Motronic Fuel Injection. This is a no accident, southern car spending its life in Georgia and North Carolina. Service has been kept up to date the last few years by an independent Porsche shop. Everything works (air conditioning, heat, sound etc.) with the exception of the cruise control. The car has been repainted in the original Porsche Marine Blue. The paint is nice with a good shine. The interior is nice and comfortable with no cracks on the dash. This is a nice driver that pulls strong in each gear. Features Include: - 3.2 - liter Flat six - 217 hip @ 5900 rpm - 195 lbs ft Torque @ 4800 rpm - 5 speed manual Getrag G50 tranny - Disc brakes front and rear - Sun roof - Thermostatically controlled cooling fan - Professionally maintained - Services up to date - MOMO sport steering wheel (original conveys) - Upgraded stereo and speakers - Borla exhaust - Clear North Carolina Title in hand - Pre purchase inspection welcomed - Carfax available upon request.
SPECIAL NOTICE: This car currently has a clear North Carolina Title and is in hand. In October 1996 this car was stolen in Atlanta Ga. It was recovered 60 days later (January 1997). Because the insurer was already reimbursed the insurance company had to sell the car at an Insurance Recovery Auction. In Georgia all of these sales must be done on a "Salvage Titleâ€. There is no record of any accidents. This car had not been damaged but did have the word "Salvage" in the Georgia title 21 years ago. Inspections welcomed. The current North Carolina title is clear. |
