Description of 1994 Porsche 968 |
147,000+ miles will go up since its my daily driver, Tiptronic transmission. Upgraded 17" rims, previous owner retrofitted 911 headlights. I believe the color Porsche calls it is Midnight Blue Metallic, with gray interior. A bit of info on this car, Fewer than 4,500 were built for the U.S. market before production ended in 1995, divided nearly evenly between Coupes and Cabriolets. I've been the owner since the summer of 2009. It was my summer car until 2 years ago, then it became a daily driver. It is great shape for its age, and a fun car to drive. Normal wear on the seats that you would expect from a 24 year old car. The inside door panels were replaced do to sun cracking, no cracks in the dash. The top was replaced by a previous owner. Car still runs strong and is fun to drive. A/C is cold, heat is hot. I have listed what has been done below. 2010Replaced: starter motor, Front rotors, pads and sensors 2013New Interstate battery 2015Replaced broken Flex Coupler, I elected to have the timing belt done at this time, along with balance belt, pulleys, replaced valve cover gaskets, dist cap, rotor and spark plugs, air filter element, a/c and p/s drive belts. Rear break job including crossed drilled rotors 2016New radiator, hot water control valve, thermo fan switch. Repaint: Trunk lid, brake light housing and rear body panel above tail lights. Paint and install rear deck spoiler. 2017LR wheel bearing & left inner CV boot. Driver window was put back on track, 4 new tires, BF Goodrich G-Force Sport comps(when that was done new front lower control arm bushings) Add ons: Wind deflector, convertible boot cover BLK, Rear spoiler. Clarion cd player with aux port on front, USB port in the glovebox. Blue LED lights in instrument cluster. Stainless Steel door steps with Porsche logo. Cons: Electronic top, it needs to be adjusted. I had it unhooked and put it up and down manually. Gas door cover needs to be repainted. Center arm rest cover needs to be replaced ($35 on Ebay), some rash on the rims, driver side door panel 4" needs to be glued down on top (you can see in one of the photos). Email with questions or for a test drive, no joy rides. Cross posted. |
