1975 Porsche 911 Targa - This numbers matching 2.7 5psd had been sitting in a heated shop for the last 5+ years untouched. It ran when parked, but all fuel was drained and electrical was unhooked before it was stored. So I took it to the shop, and we had a new fuel pump installed, went through the electrical and changed the oil before attempting to fire it up.
It now starts and runs just fine! It doesn't appear to have any major oil leaks. In fact it runs very well, has lots of power and shifts through all the gears as it should making it an excellent running and driving project. The fan/alternator pulley is broken, and needs replaced. This is an easy fix, I just haven't located and installed the new pulley and belt yet. (so you can't run it very long or it would overheat without the fan hooked up)
The odometer shows 31,874 but not sure if it is accurate or not, as I have no service paperwork for the car (other than the service I just had performed) The previous owner did tell me he had the cam tensioners done at some point.
The interior is showing it's age but it's actually pretty clean...
Original color was brown with tan interior, then the second owner painted it blueish purple (for some odd reason)The previous owner I purchased it from started stripping off all the parts and getting it ready to repaint, then lost interest.
I have a TON of parts for this car. Including the bumpers, all glass, door panels, all rubbers, lights, etc. Basically every part that the previous owner took off I still have, all boxed up and ready to ship with the car. I also have an extra set of bumpers, an extra door, and extra hood and rear deck lid, etc. The existing bumpers, windshield, and hood are just sitting there for pics, they aren't bolted up. If the car needs shipped, all parts can be put inside the car.
As you can see from the photos, the car appears to be rust free, and the bottom pans look excellent!
