This a re-list due the buyer being located in Germany and could not export the car without a title. Please read this listing in it's entirety before asking questions. This is a 1976 Porsche 914 2.0 for parts or restoration. It is not running. First of all there is no title for this car as the state of Maine does not title cars older than 1991 and I have not had the car registered (so no old registration). This is being sold on a bill of sale only. If that is a problem for you, please do not bid on it. It was stored for many years and then purchased by a body man who began to work on it (that's the reason for the primer plus he was going to paint it maroon). He ran into time constraints and was unable to finish it and I purchased it. Now, I too do not have the time to work on it and have decided to let it go. It would make a great parts car or an ambitious restoration candidate. The color code is L80E which is Light Ivory. The VIN is 4762900182 making it the 182nd car built for the 1976 model year. The engine does turn over freely. This is the much more desirable 2 liter engine. The car does roll easily. You are welcome to come and inspect the car before the end of the auction. What you see is what you get, nothing more and nothing less. I am located in Berwick, Maine, 70 miles north of Boston. It is being sold as is, as shown, with no guarantee or warranty of any kind. A $250.00 non-refundable deposit is due through PayPal within 48 hours of the close of the auction. The balance is due within 7 days of the close of the auction either by cash or by bank transfer. If you wish to make the final payment by PayPal, you will need to include an additional 3% to cover the PayPal fees charged to me by them. Sorry, but due to the proliferation of forged bank checks, I will not accept them. I can store the car for up to two weeks as long as the payment schedule above is adhered to. Thank you.
