Description of 1972 Porsche 911 996 GT3R Twin Turbo

Porsche Twin Turbo Track Car

Porsche Twin Turbo Track Car

Porsche twin turbo track car with less than 20 track events since being built by Porsche Professionals at ProtoSport New Jersey, twelve years ago.

Build started with a low mileage, lightweight 1972 chassis and is powered by a 1997 stock 993 twin turbo motor and G50 transmission

It was then wrapped in a 996 GT3R composite body with a full custom roll cage, Safety Devices fire suppression system, ATL racing fuel cell, Recaro seats, Schroth Harnesses and 993 instrumentation

With a fully custom Bilstien suspension and custom made wheels. The suspension uses 930 tubular A-arms with Porsche brakes and the extremely wide wheels are P335/30ZR18 (Hoosier race tires are date coded 03/14).

A very wide stance, low profile, and lightweight, combined with over 400 turbocharged HP, makes it brutally fast and fun to drive, while maintaining dependability and low maintenance, due to stock Porsche drivetrain components.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

I am not a dealer. These are my words and my photos, no dealer disclaimer "mumbo jumbo" here. Of course it is sold as is by owner, with a bill of sale and I do feel am responsible for a "correct description" of the car. .

There are 90 photos shown, they should give you a good understanding what you are bidding on and, I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. My cell is 973 - 650 - 0608 (John) If you are local, you are welcome to come see the car, or bring your "expert" to do the same..

I would suggest that you satisfy yourself as to the condition and value and bid based upon that judgement only. Best of luck.
