1979 Porsche 930 Turbo metallic black with black leather. Factory sport seats, sunroof, black headliner, passenger side mirror, all original with under 55k original miles. Sold new at Felton Porsche/Audi in Mill Valley, CA on November 29, 1978. Build date September 1978, early version with snorkel headlight washers. Car has been in Northern California it's entire life, rust free, bone stock, including original blue plates. Comes with original, correct brown bag tool kit (missing a couple of wrenches I think), books, service records and even DMV registration cards starting with November 1978. I changed taillights to euro versions but kept original red ones. I also have the 3 cassette boxes with red tabs that go in the console, not shown in my photos. CA smog legal, passed with exceptionally clean readings and passed visual as well, has original exhaust and thermal reactors. Some panels have had a respray but still a lot of original paint including front and rear bumpers, roof, engine lid, rocker panels, door jams, inside bonnet, inside engine lid and engine compartment, inside trunk. Engine has never been rebuilt, I only had to address oil leaks and had a leak down performed, exceptionally tight engine with 3% on cylinders 2-5, 5% on cylinder 1 and 8% on cylinder 6. New Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo Rs. Zero rust, many chassis photos available on request, also trunk and many more interior photos. Interior is 100% original, every surface, seats are in excellent condition, dash has typical warping at base of windshield and some shrinkage at center a/c vent. Blaupunkt still works with electric antenna. Spare tire appears to have never touched the road. This is a very tight, solid, strong driver. Needs nothing to be enjoyed. I have owned it since 2015 and only run it once or twice a month to keep fluids and parts moving. Registered through November 2019. I am not in a hurry to sell and not entertaining offers below asking price, please no dealers or offers to help sell. I hope to find a local buyer who can see the car in person.
