Rare '76 Turbo, Sunroof delete, 3.5 liter twinplug turbo + G50 upgraded

Extremely rare 1976 Sunroof Delete 930!, upgraded with 3.5 liter twin plug engine with G50 transmission, 49th Turbo Carrera made in '76.

This very rare Porsche is One of only 530 units made for the US market in 1976, and probably one of a handful of sunroof delete Turbo Carreras.

This car is a very early example of production being the 49th unit built for that year, making it almost as rare as a 1975 piece.

This car has been upgraded with a later 550 HP 3.5-liter twin plug 930 engine mated to a very sought after G50, 5-speed transmission. The power is also controlled via an electronic boost controller and additional cooling is provided by an oversized, efficient intercooler.

The car rolls on custom three-piece wide Fuchs wheels for better power transfer and cornering. The Pirelli Assimetrico tires are period correct as well.

Boost and power come up very early in the RPM range, providing an amazing throttle response and power curve.

Original period elements are still present, such as the original seats, instruments and a very hard to find and very desirable early Alpine cassette player with AM-FM.

The iconic Turbo decals from the very early Turbo Carreras are still applied to the body.

In the 80's, the car was upgraded with Turbo S rear quarter vents and rockers, giving it an aggressive look.
