Description of 1969 Porsche 911 -- |
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this fully documented, 2 Owner, 1969 Porsche 911T to the world market. This car was purchased new on June 23, 1969 from North Import Motors, of Chicago, IL. The car came highly optioned with the following factory installed options: Michelin Tires, High Capacity Discharge Unit, Five Speed Transmission, Comfort Group, antenna and Blaupunkt Frankfurt Radio. Since, the car was kept at a seasonal residence outside of Kalamazoo, MI where it was enjoyed for 28 years until it changed hands in July of 1997 to the second owner where it was restored and lovingly kept until our recent acquisition. During the restoration process, the decision was made to change the color of this 911T from its original Irish Green to Polo Red. Today, as a result of a lifetime of responsible ownership, the car remains in beautiful condition throughout and mechanically it is very fit. The car is powered by its original, numbers matching, air cooled 6 cylinder engine 2.0 liter engine and 5 speed manual gearbox. This 911 is a pure pleasure to drive. It pulls strong in every gear, tracks straight down the road, the suspension and steering is responsive and tight, and the car brakes straight. The original Blaupunkt Radio works and at the time of our inspection, all the lights, turn signals, gauges, wipers, etc. work. The car comes complete with original Owners Handbook, Tool Roll, Jack, and Spare. Documentation is extensive and includes: The original window sticker showing the cars serial number and engine number, the original Bill of Sale, the original Maintenance Record showing the serial number and engine number, the original vehicle deposit receipt, written correspondence between the original owner and Porsche North America, Hand written Bill of Sale between documenting the sale of the car in 1997, Documentation of the one Title Transfer, Original Customer Identification Card, Original Blaupunkt Supplements with Radio Number and Original Sleeve, and a Large Stack of Receipts documenting restoration work and services back to 1997. Early, chrome bumper, Porsche 911's continue to be widely sought after with demands coming from all 4 corners of the globe. These cars offer a driving experience that pure and direct, and have proven to be a blue chip investment in the collector car industry. Quality, numbers matching, high quality, fully documented examples as the car offered here are few and far between will continue to appreciate. |
