1986 Porsche 944 base, automatic transmission, purchased for our son about 3 years ago. Spent about $2000 getting it in good running order (have receipts) he drove it for a little more than a year until the timing belt broke while he was driving. He and I took the engine down and found the valves over the #1 cylinder had bent but there was no damage to any of the pistons or cylinders. I told him I would buy the parts to fix it but he was responsible for putting it back together. Long story short - it has been in my driveway for probably a year and a half now and I want it gone. All the parts should be present and are currently in the back of the car including another head, gaskets, air intake, cam tower, air filter box, etc... I have no idea what you may run into putting this car back together since it has been sitting for so long but to my knowledge everything except the cruise and odometer worked up to the day the timing belt broke. Since the odometer wasn't working I am unsure of the exact mileage but 77932 is the current reading. There is some rust and the carpet on the passenger side was damp as I was taking pictures to list. The windshield is cracked, it will need tires, and the clear coat is peeling very badly although the car looks better in the pictures than it does in person. This is truly a no reserve auction with the bidding starting at .99 cents. Please contact me with any questions or for additional pictures of any areas of the car you would like a closer look at. Car will come with bill of sale, Georgia title and receipts I have for work done. If there is an issue please contact me as I find most problems can be resolved with a little communication. Deposit of $100 due within 48 hours of the auction ending, full amount due before vehicle is hauled away, preferably within a week. Buyer responsible for arranging shipping although I will help get the car loaded on to transport or a trailer.
