This beautiful 1968 911 Targa wears a stunning color combination of Polar Silver metallic and black interior/targa top. Restoration work includes, most seals were replaced at the time of repainting to polar silver from its original silver. Interior is the original black leatherette and has optional S gauges on the dash. Targa top was redone inside and out. Carpet is still original. Original wheel has new leather. Aftermarket retracting lap/shoulder belts currently installed, original lap belts included. The 80’s stereo system was removed when dash trim was replaced although the speakers cut into the doors remain. Also includes a complete 911 tool kit and the original owner’s manual. The car currently has Bosch H4 headlights/Euro lenses and 15x6 deep Fuchs wheels. The original 15" steel wheels with hubcaps, original horn grilles, US lenses, US rear bumper guards and US headlights/trim are included. Original spare still in the front. In the back sits a 1971 2.2 911T engine and has about 49,572 miles on the rebuild. It has recently rebuilt 40IDA Webers, pressure fed chain tensioners and Permatune ignition. Included with the car is the Porsche COA and a packet full of purchase receipts for parts and services on the car dating back to 2000.
