Description of 1973 Porsche 911 RED LEATHER, APPEARANCE GROUP |
1973 PORSCHE 911S This 1973 Porsche 911S was originally ordered by a Doctor in North Carolina with all options, he flew to Germany and got to experience the Porsche Red Carpet delivery including touring the factory in Stuttgart. He sold the car to the second owner in 1995. Five years ago the older man that was the second owner of this rare 1973 Porsche 911 S had an opportunity to sell to very well know Porsche Celebrity buyer. They made a six-figure plus offer in line with Hagerty’s valuation at that time but the very quirky old guy got sentimental about the car and decided not to sell it to the Gentleman. The deal fell through. A few years later, after determining the old man couldn’t make decisions for himself any more, the older man’s family contacted me and sold me this rare Porsche. I paid dearly for it and now find I do not have the time or energy to take this car to the next level of Concours restoration. The car had never left North Carolina until I bought it. The title is in my name. I reside in the Atlanta GA area. Hagerty‘s has this car currently valued at 120k(Average to Good) with a 10% ad for electric sunroof, 10% ad for air-conditioning, 10% add for five speed transmission. What a great candidate for a concours restoration! This Porsche also has the very coveted appearance group which includes fog lights and chrome wheel well trim. This is probably the most honest early 911 S I’ve come across in 25 years of in buying vintage Porsche’s. Highly opted 1973 911 S coupe, never been restored, portions of the car have been repainted at different times in it’s lifetime. Some original paint remains on the car. All door jams trunk and engine bay areas are all in original paint. This is a Matching Number, Accident free, rust free body, original interior, small crack in the dash, typical wear on the original red leather seats and carpets. Windshield and all other glass are original to the Coupé., Power windows operate as they should, power sunroof operates properly, all Lighting operates correctly, the car runs and drives nicely. I have sold thirty plus 356’s and 911’s on eBay in the early to mid 2000’s. Some of my customers are Paulo Gandossi, Domenico DiNapoli, Nick Westendorf and many others. Bid with confidence. Please contact me if you would like to come see the Coupe or have a Representitive inspect the car. This is one of 1400 “S†Coupes built in 1973. Not many were this highly opted.
