Hi, everyone. Thanks for viewing my auction. I’m hereby posting my classic turbo-convertible Porsche 911, one of kinds and of rear cars in the street today, for sale. Among all 6 classic Porsches I've previously owned (3 of 911 Turbo, regular 911 and Speedster), this is the best, and is a head-turner to many people because very rear for its appearance and sound. Air-cool classic Porshe is known by 3 things – appearance, sound, and power. Until 1989, Porsche was the fastest car in the world. This Porsche still generates about 430 HP of rear wheel when turbo kicks in with its 3.3 bullet-proof turbo engine and K27 turbo. For transmission, this car has 6 speed short-stick and very smooth and effortless to shift gears as if Honda Accord’s while holding the power of turbo-kicks when needed. Classic air-cool turbo Porsche mostly performs their best in cold temperature. G-50 transmission is more heavier side for maneuver. This Porsche is handled very smoothly as a street-friendly car when driving conservatively. Yet it behaviors like a beast w/ sound when turbo-kicked w/ driving vigorously. For the best optimum of classic Porsche asks for adopting unique characteristics of how to handle each air-cool turbo for its best driving-experience that of which I’m still at student. I own this Porshe for last 14 years. Originally this was owned by my friend, but was vandalized, not collision-accident, returned to home without power-trains. He converted to a convertible with 3.3 turbo engine, the best turbo engine, and to 6 speed transmission. For last 14 years, the car was in excellent shape and performance. (FYI, the title had been sharedbetween me and my wife) I always maintained this car by Porsche specialist regularly. I installed new transmission about 4 years ago, and new convertible top in last year that is still under 3-year warranty. The car runs excellently and appears distinctively. Usually Porsche can cause much mechanical troubles according to my experience of air-cool Porsche as well as to other Porsche owners. This may be actually common as well for all European car owners. However, this one was surprisingly dependable, easy and low-cost of maintenance than other Porsches or European cars I have owned. I found maintenance and repair of this Porsche are surprisingly capable for most mechanics, because this Porsche is not only less computerized than the post 1994 models with heavy computerization but also the excellent workmanship of the set-up. Most parts are easily available everywhere including Ebay. In a few years, this car will become to officially classic-car category and be appreciated so much more. But for me is a time of transition to next stage and is to simply. For reference of title-status, all my Porsches I owned previously had clear titles and none for rebuilt or salvage. But, I kept upgrading them because they didn't have the best fit of right combination - appearance, power, and sound in order to comply today's power and style. (My other cars have easily over 400 HP). But as you find, most air-cool classical Porsche are barely over 300 HP, slow and sluggish for driving experience not convenient, and don't execute the power or kick to seize the momentum. lol Such original models for me appear impractical, and I kept updating my previous ones until I found this Porsche. This was the right combination, and kept me for the longest days until now. For a better understanding, the current on-line price of this 3.3L turbo engine (911 turbo/930 model) rebuilt costs mostly around $35,000, engine only, not including K27 turbo ($2,500), performance intercooler ($2,500), and performance exhaust ($5,000). Practically, 45,000 is the cost of engine-part only. Thus, these Porsche models usually run over $100,000 in healthy market. (Yet, my reserve is much less.) Beside, the Knesis wheels cost alone about $5,000. In other words, this Porsche even sold for parts only still can cost more than $50,000. To come up this kind of set-up would be mostly impractical for many if was out of regular Porsche conversion, unless as for this case to utilize insurance-benefit be possible. This Porsche will assure you the experience of: - 1) unique appearance, 2) unique sound, 3) powerful kick, 4) direct/raw-feeling of driving, 5) sturdiness of full metallic-body, 6) dependability, and 7) timeless presence. Please let me know for any further questions. To buy an used car can be uneasy process, especially for high-end cars. I also traveled and flew many times to other cities, to NY, and Florida and to other states in order to find the right one for me while holding many sleepless nights. LOL Yet rest assured. This is one of the best Porsches that kept me to appreciate it to this long. Time brings light. I wouldn’t let this go unless I’m in different season of life. This one unique, fast, and dependable. I recommend this to every Porsche enthusiasts b/c best price and quality. For house-keeping, any bidder w/ zero or below 90% positive feedback need to contact me before bidding. Or I will decline the bid. Sorry. Also, I may end the auction early since the car is offered in local market for sale. Thanks again for your time to check my posting. All the best, "Life has seasons; Enjoy every blessing."
