Porsche 911 930 turbo trackdaycar

This 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe was initially delivered in the US and later relocated to Europe, where it was modified in a trackday car under my ownership, including 17″ wheels with semislick tires, Bilstein coilover suspension,----. Power is provided by a replacement turbocharged flat-six built to displace 3.5-liters with JE pistons, Carrillo connecting rods, 911SC camshafts, and twin-plug cylinder heads. Shifting is via a four-speed manual transaxle with modified gearing and a limited-slip differential, and additional upgrades include “Big Red” Brembo calipers, Smart Racing sway bars, and a bump steer kit. Finished in Guards Red, the car features white graphics with various sponsor logos as well as a sunroof delete, modified bumpers, polycarbonate rear windows, and a tea tray spoiler. Inside, a pair of DP Motorsports fixed-back seats with Sabelt harnesses were installed along with with a roll cage, a MOMO steering wheel, and red-dial VDO instrumentation. This 911 was acquired by me since long time and is now offered in Germany, with a clean Carfax report.
The car left the factory in Guards Red and the hood has since been refinished. White graphics with various sponsor logos have been adhered to the bodywork, and an auxiliary oil cooler and skid plate are mounted along the front brush guard. The sunroof has been deleted, and further exterior details include a Euro-style rear bumper, a modified front bumper, polycarbonate rear quarter and rear windows, black stone guards ahead of the rear wheels, and a tea tray spoiler. Flaws in the finish are shown up-close in the gallery below.
Staggered-width 17″ Kerscher Fuchs-style wheels with black centers are mounted with 235/55 General Grabber AT3 tires, and a spare is secured to the wood-slat roof rack. A strut brace is fitted in the front trunk compartment, and further suspension modifications are said to include Bilstein RSR coilovers, a bump-steer kit, monoballs, extended control arms, adjustable spring plates, and adjustable Smart Racing Products front and rear sway bars. A Brembo big-brake kit was fitted and it features red calipers with Porsche lettering over ventilated and cross-drilled multi-piece rotors at each corner.
The cockpit has been outfitted with a pair of DP Motorsport fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black microsuede with Tartan-style red inserts that extend to the RS-style door panels. Sabelt multi-point harnesses are attached at the red-finished roll cage, which incorporates door bars and is partially padded overhead. An OMP fire extinguisher is mounted in the right footwell, and the rear jump seats have been removed. The climate controls and stereo have been deleted and a custom leather-wrapped dash installed. Further appointments include a drilled floorboard and foot rests, black velour carpets, and a carbon-fiber shift knob.
The MOMO steering wheel is wrapped in black microsuede with a yellow centering stripe. Replacement red-dial VDO instrumentation includes a central 7k-rpm tachometer with an inset boost pressure readout as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. An adjustable boost regulator is installed below the dash. The six-digit odometer shows 49k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

The replacement turbocharged flat-six was reportedly built to displace 3.5-liters in 2020 and fitted with aftermarket JE 8:1 compression pistons, Carrillo connecting rods, 911SC camshafts, and ported twin-plug cylinder heads. The engine is outfitted with a Turbo-Kraft top-mount aluminum intercooler along with red-finished fan shroud and case components, and further equipment is said to include the following:
